Pethidine injectable 100 mg/2 ml (Brand M): Opioid ampule for relieving moderate to severe pain (such as post-surgery pain, labor, or acute pain). Used for auxiliary anesthesia, labor pain relief, and pre-operative relief (premedication). Administered via subcutaneous, intramuscular, or slow intravenous injection (IV) with a dose of 25-100 mg every 4 hours (maximum 400 mg in 24 hours). It reduces pain by inhibiting opioid receptors and has a sedative effect.
