Prolia 60 mg (Denosumab): Pre-filled syringe injection (Amgen) for treating osteoporosis in postmenopausal women at high risk of fracture, men with osteoporosis or receiving hormone therapy for prostate cancer, and reducing bone complications in patients with multiple myeloma or cancer with bone metastases. By inhibiting RANKL, it reduces bone resorption and increases bone density.
Application: Prevention of fractures due to osteoporosis and management of bone complications in cancer. Dose: 60 mg subcutaneous every 6 months, with calcium and vitamin D.
